I can second what you’ve said about Hubpages. I joined about 3 years ago and never did anything much with it, then about a month ago I realised it had secretly been earning me an increasing amount of money from just a few random hubs and recipes.

So I’ve just spent a month beefing up my hubs and creating a whole bunch of hubs.

It is as you say: completely free and, in my opinion, the easiest way to earn a residula income online. I’m really pleased I joined, but I am euphoric at having realised what a great deal it offers. You don’t have to be a “good writer”, I think many people are scared to write as they don’t think they’d be good enough, but everybody can be good. Simply write something (over 500 words is best) and publish it, then the community will give you all the help you need to rework it a bit better. Once you’ve published a hub you can go back and fiddle with it, improve it, add to it, as often as you like forever (so there’s no final fear of commitment that you’re stuck with what you first wrote).

The traffic you can pick up easily is awesome too.

This seems like a potential way of making money, and a good alternative to Hubpages, Squidoo etc. I have written my first Knol on the site, having written a few hubs and it will be interesting to see how traffic and income compare.

Laminate really will brighten up any room and create the feeling of more space. If you are going to install the floor yourself look out for floors that use the ‘uniclic’ loc system. You will find them much easier to install.
