The History Of Search Engine Optimization

Saturday, January 2nd, 2010

The term search engine optimization actually dates back to a time before Google, which although many people may not remember was not always around, having been invented in university dorm room. Although, the rise to prominence of both could easily be connected; Google was one of the first search engines to pay such close attention to back linking, which in turn is one of the driving factors behind good search engine optimization.

When the internet began to gain popularity, it was realised that there was a need to create a ranking system for websites. This became more apparent when it was realised that people were searching for sites by using general terms or words relating to the site rather than a specific company name.

The birth of search engine optimization was marked by the advent of search engines banning ‘spamming’ or keyword stuffing. By forcing companies to not just fill meaningless pages with relative keywords, but find clever ways to work it into the text and create links with similar like-minded websites search engine optimization became the force that it is today. Increase your network marketing business by the help of Web 2.0

Sunday, November 22nd, 2009

If you are an existing customer in the network marketing vertical, then there is no need to tell you about the network marketing industry because you already know that how successful it is to attempt and conscript a new prospect in internet marketing business. If you are new to this field, then you can ask people those already had tried and have much more experience. Just give a look at the statistics then you can find that more than 90% of network marketers stop and on regular they barely support three new people.

Do you know why the rate of the turn over is so more and the outcomes are so poor in this type of network marketing?  The main reason behind this is that most of the network marketers don’t have enough skills to do appropriate sales and marketing. These people just follow their up line with the names list such as cold calls, three foot rule and leads lists. They continue this process until they achieve their maximum value out the credit card. After they reach their point, they either move on or quit and guilt it on the MLM chance or on their own. (more…)

The Evolution of Web 2.0 and Marketing Strategies

Friday, November 13th, 2009

10 years back, the author and creative thinker, John Naisbitt wrote about the social marketing effects in the internet. In his book High-Tech / High-Touch, he explained about the reshaping society by new technologies.
But nowadays we are utilizing many high – tech technologies in our social networks. For example, multimedia technologies, by using this technology we can create video sites like You Tube. Video sites will be more effective as compared to ordinary text websites. We are using social networking websites such as Wikis, MySpace, Digg and Facebook and these websites are being used by a number of people.

These technologies are increased day by day and created new technology that is Web 2.0. This Web 2.0 tool is very useful for online business people, who have the motto of profit as in normal business. This tool provides the information or material to people based on their interest. Mouse Pad – A Promotional Product

Saturday, October 3rd, 2009

Our desktops have evolved a lot in the last couple of years, with enhanced features and improved dimensions. Computers which were earlier developed for research purposes found their place in commercial centres and slowly found their place in our homes. The desktop or the personal computer (PC) is now a new person to hang out with in your own house. The PC has also altered in its size and has reduced a more potable piece known as the laptop and latest sensation we hear is the notebook.

Most of the evolution that has taken place in your PC or notebook is only to make your work easier. The alterations in the overall look of your workstation are incomplete if it doesn’t suit your needs. Although many of us are aware of Bluetooth devices, there are very few who have actually explored the products with Bluetooth features. A Bluetooth enabled mouse, headset and many such products to make your workstation wireless. Upgrading of the software as the nature of work is a known fact, however accessorizing it is yet to catch up. (more…)

Promoting Indian Sentiments – Festive Mania

Friday, October 2nd, 2009

Couple of months ago I went gold shopping with my Mother and we landed in this huge gold showroom which was newly inaugurated in the heart of the city of Kochi in Kerala. Well we did some shopping and while collecting the bill we received a huge packet containing a six-metre traditional Kasav saree. To begin with Kasav sarees over the years have evolved both in style, colour palettes and much more. However, the traditional ones are still in demand and are worn on all auspicious occasions especially on Onam by Keralites. I enquired with my Mother out of curiosity, why did the shop owners give such an expensive saree for such a small purchase that we made here.

My Mother replied, “This is a new store of Alapatt Heritage and to generate goodwill and attract customers is on their mind as of now”. Another gold store nearby called Malabar Gold was giving out packets of Payasam mix and a vacuum flask to all those who make a purchase from their store. Onam was around the corner and most retailers had a smile on their faces as this is the auspicious occasion for many of their customers to buy gold and other utilities. (more…)

Print Media Advertising – Posters and Banners

Thursday, October 1st, 2009

A place where you would spend most of the time in a day or any given day must be idyllic and suit your taste or else living in could be more of a compromise than a choice. Hence these days home décor and office interiors are carefully conceptualized to meet the requirements like utility and budget and also the moods of the individual who would eventually inhabit it.

Wall papers have been around for decades now, but they have taken on a better form as on today. You can take pictures of your choice and share them with the interior designer or a vendor you trust who would be able to develop it into scenery on your favorite wall and there you have your personal touch that would eventually help you bond emotionally to the place. Outdoor Advertising Unleashed

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

Many of us do not spend time sitting as couch potatoes in front of the television sets, perhaps many of us are not so very tech-savvy to be glued to the computers as geeks. So the question for advertisers’ is how we reach out to people who are constantly moving and traveling through their work.

There is a great deal of detail and research that follows before a product is designed and launched into the market. The most important aspect of this research is to find the target audience of the product whenever and wherever it is launched. It is this target group which will purchase the good or service, hence advertising that product would require the communication strategy to envelope the entire region where the buyers of this product are concentrated. Packaging & Launching Essentials – An Insight

Tuesday, September 29th, 2009

How many times we have gone to the supermarket, looked at the entire range of brands for a particular product and opted for that particular good simply because of its packaging. I’m sure there are many who must have made that choice based on the outlook of the packaged product.

Introducing a product in the market requires a lot of study simply to begin its manufacturing based on its demand in the society. Once you have the product manufactured, begins another process of how to sell it. Packaging and launching the product becomes the integral part of marketing and communication. An attractive exterior is a must so that the product stands out while on display. Its branding is cautiously worked upon by advertisement gurus and marketing professionals jointly. One thing remains unsaid although premeditated is that, whatever communication of the product goes to the media or the masses must have the branding of the product in it. (more…)
