Welcome to Dir.vc's WAP Directory. WAP (Wireless Application Protocol) is an international standard for browser applications for handheld devices such as PDA's, mobile phones and pagers. A Wap Browser is much like a web browser, only simplified for use on the handheld devices because of the restricted capabilities of the handheld devices, like small screen size, and lack of qwerty keyboards.
